Fred Knoblock
Now a successful Nashville songwriter and frequent performer at the Bluebird Cafe, Knoblock (now Knobloch) had a minor hit with the song "Why Not Me" back in 1980. A great song and well worth digging up this treasure if only for the one song. The other songs don't match the wit and sentiment of the title track, but they are very listenable singer/songwriter tunes in the vein of James Taylor or Jimmy Buffett.
